Sure, these instances might not be the usual case, but when it is, it's the most adorable and wholesome thing to witness. Take these two stray kittens who stepped up for orphaned baby opossums. These little joeys hang on to their mom until they are big enough to let go. They depend on their mom for everything! But it would appear in this instance, that this passel of joeys no longer have their mom. So they found two stray kittens. These feline friends must've seen them, been nice to them, and now they stick together!

Don't worry! They're not full-time mommies at such a young cat age. They were found by a friendly human who, luckily, also has a love for animals. She's no fool and knows that these kittens couldn't possible actually keep these joeys alive. So she's stepping in on the survival part.
